Forest Fridays for Homeschoolers
2023 Spring Pilot Program

We hope you can join us!

We are excited to invite local homeschool students to join us for Forest Fridays! Our mixed-age kindergarten students spend every Friday exploring the natural world at a local park in Marietta, PA. This is a wonderful opportunity for homeschooled* students to receive purposeful socialization at a school that values nature-based education.

Open to students ages 4 - 6 years old. Please note this is a pilot program.

What to Expect

Forest Friday students enjoy taking long hikes, building forts, and exploring nature's wonders at a nearby park. Children discover local plant and animal life and celebrate the joys of the world around them. A typical day includes a walk/exploration, imaginative play, storytime, and a snack. The day is full of music, singing, and movement.

*This program is also open to children in part-time schooling/childcare.
